PDM Group case study

PDM Group

We implemented a thought leadership strategy to gain market position

Passion

The brief was to build profile for PDM and cement its position at the forefront of the waste to energy sector.

Purpose

We conceived of a bespoke project to influence the legislative agenda, communicate with other businesses and create positive news coverage, all while continuing to present the business as a market leader. We created a manifesto on the eradication of food waste, which was launched at a high profile London venue and introduced by Lord Deben.

Results

  • Attendance secured from significant industry bodies, including The Renewable Energy Association, Anerobic Digestion and Biogas Association, London Waste and Recycling Board, Greater London Authority, Chartered Institute of Waste Management, Food and Drink Federation
  • Media coverage secured across 90 per cent of the key target media, including MRW, letsrecycle.com, The Ends Report, Food Manufacture and Food Processing
  • PDM was invited to speak at both the Food Waste Conference and RWM
  • More than 30 companies have signed up to the manifesto

“Thanks to Prova, we achieved a competitive advantage for PDM both online and in the papers. Well done and thanks for all the efforts of the team.”Suzanne McDermott, marketing manager, PDM Group
